Rocky Springs Campground is located along the Natchez Trace Parkway in Mississippi. It’s a free, first-come, first-served campground, offering a peaceful setting for visitors. Campsites are surrounded by trees, ensuring privacy and shade. Each site includes a picnic table and a fire pit, perfect for outdoor cooking. While there is one restroom on-site, there’s no potable water, so visitors should bring their own supplies. The area features hiking trails and historical sites, including remnants of an old town and hiking paths that lead to scenic views. The campground offers excellent stargazing opportunities, with minimal light pollution at night.
