Pfeifferhorn is known for its challenging hikes and stunning views, making it a favorite destination for outdoor enthusiasts. Located in the Wasatch Range of Utah, this peak offers a strenuous but rewarding trail that stretches roughly 10 miles round trip. Hikers can expect significant elevation gain of about 3,700 feet as they ascend towards the summit, where rock scrambling becomes necessary. The trail starts near the White Pine Lake parking area and passes by picturesque lakes, including Red Pine Lake. Facilities such as pit toilets are available, but visitors should plan accordingly with plenty of water and snacks. Known for its dark skies, Pfeifferhorn is also a great spot for stargazing.
