Most galaxies are full of stars, dust, and gas, but Dragonfly 44 is different—it’s 99.99% dark matter. This faint galaxy, found in the Coma Cluster, has so few stars that it should have been torn apart by gravity long ago. The only explanation? An enormous halo of invisible dark matter is holding it together. Whatever dark matter is, Dragonfly 44 proves it’s not just a small part of the universe—it can dominate entire galaxies.
