Right now, about 100 trillion neutrinos are passing through your body every second. These ghostly particles barely interact with matter, so they fly straight through you, through the Earth, and back into space. They come from the Sun, supernovae, and even nuclear reactions. Some are so high-energy that they’ve traveled across the universe for billions of years before reaching us—passing unnoticed through everything in their path.
