Planets larger than Earth but smaller than Neptune are called super-Earths, and they might be the most common type of planet in the universe. Some could be rocky worlds with thick atmospheres and vast oceans, making them even more habitable than Earth. Strangely, our own solar system doesn’t have one—scientists are still trying to figure out why.
