Asteroids aren’t always solitary. Some, like Ida, have tiny moons orbiting them. Even more surprising, some asteroids are actually binary—two roughly equal-sized rocks orbiting a common center. Others, like Eugenia, have multiple moons, making them miniature planetary systems floating in the asteroid belt.
