Orion’s Belt is one of the easiest star patterns to find, and it also serves as a guide to other celestial objects. If you follow the line of the belt downward, you’ll reach Sirius, the brightest star in the sky. If you trace it upward, you’ll find Aldebaran, the red eye of Taurus. This makes Orion’s Belt a natural roadmap for stargazers learning their way around the sky.
